Corey Stull was born in Grand Island, Nebraska, and attended Hastings
College in Hastings, Nebraska, where he received a Bachelor of Arts
degree with highest distinction in Forensic Psychology in 1994. He was
an active member of the campus, serving as the president of the student
government; president of the Public Relations Council; president of Psi
Chi, a national psychology honorary; and an officer in his fraternity.
Corey received his law degree in 1997 with distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law. During law school, he served as the Chairman of the Allen Moot Court Board; received the Schmid Scholarship for excellence in appellate advocacy; and was elected to the Order of the Barristers, a national legal honorary for excellence in trial and appellate advocacy.
Corey has been in private practice in Lincoln since 1997, and his primary areas of work are railroad litigation, employment law, and
general civil litigation. Corey has been a presenter at various seminars
on employment, insurance, and railroad law, both locally and nationally.
Corey has also written materials for the Railroad Litigator's Notebook
on topics related to the Federal Employer's Liability Act (FELA) and the
Americans with Disabilities Act. Corey joined the firm in April 2003 and
he continues to represent injured railroad employees under the FELA and
in employment and other civil litigation. He is a member of the American
Civil Liberties Union Nebraska, serving on the organization’s lawyers
panel, and is a board member for Lincoln/Lancaster County Habitat for
Humanity. He is also a member of the Lincoln Bar Association, Nebraska
State Bar Association, Nebraska Association of Trial Lawyers and the
American Bar Association. Corey, his wife Jeanette, and daughter Lauren
enjoy the outdoors on their acreage outside of Lincoln.
