Judds Brothers Construction v. Burlington Northern Railroad Company
Second chaired trial regarding construction contracts and obtained a judgment notwithstanding the verdict. Successfully defended the JNOV on appeal reported at 184 F.3d 743 (8th Cir. 1999).

Metz Mortuary v. Fiala
Obtained a verdict for the plaintiff in a personal injury jury trial wherein the defendant drove his tractor-trailer over the top of plaintiff's automobile.

Childress v. Lenco
Successfully disposed of the plaintiff's ADA lawsuit at the summary judgment level.

Bogenreif v. Sushenko
Obtained a defendant's verdict in federal court on the plaintiff's sexual harassment and retaliation lawsuit.

Weimer v. The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company
Successfully disposed of plaintiff's ADA, hostile environment and gender discrimination lawsuit at the summary judgment level.

Gustafson v. The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company
Successfully disposed of plaintiff's ADA lawsuit at the summary judgment level.

Successfully defended Dr. Malhotra at the summary judgment level in both federal and state court in medical malpractice actions.

McCombs Realty v. Western Auto
Obtained a defendant's verdict on a $1.2 million forcible entry and detainer action.

Vance v. The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company
Represented the railroad in an FELA action where liability was not at issue and obtained a verdict below the final demand of the plaintiff and the final offer of the railroad.

Miller v. The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company and TriCo Farm Services
Represented the railroad and worked with plaintiff's FELA counsel in obtaining a verdict of $579,000 for plaintiff and $212,000 for the BNSF against TriCo.

Keller v. Golden Hills Seventh Day Adventist Church
Obtained summary judgment for the Church in case of alleged abuse by a fellow church parishioner.

Baker v. Union College
Obtained summary judgment in a § 1981 claim against the college.
